“Wonderful!” Rustam staff praise

The early years team at Rustam Iranian School worked with World Beaters on Saturday to devise effective ways to use music to develop younger children’s confidence in speaking Farsi. ¬†Traditional Persian nursery songs and nonsense rhymes including ‘Atal Matal’ and ‘Amoo Zanjir Baf’, ¬†were used by Early Years music leader Sonya Prentice and Iranian musician Fariborz Kianni in their dynamic exploration of the sounds and rhythms of Farsi.

Head of Rustam School, Shahla White reflected “We have had a very useful, enjoyable, exciting day which has opened up a whole new and effective teaching methodology to us. Wonderful!”
